In a complex tender, most questions do not start with price. They start with what exactly a supplier should understand under an item. “X m² painting” is not enough if wall height or number of coats is missing.
BidCraft handles this with item templates. A template is reusable within a category, and in the tender the item-specific parameter values and note are filled in. A parameter is its own field: either a value with a unit or a text value, not a mixed description.

Item, parameters, note
An item template is not a finished offer row and not just a description. It adds fillable parameters next to the item name, such as surface area, wall height or number of coats. Additional site context remains in the note.
Organization members and roles
The tender does not live in one person's inbox. Members, permissions and responsibility areas remain part of the process.
Supplier partner network
The partner group does not need to be rebuilt from scratch for each tender. Supplier circles, relationships and invitation logic support targeted requests.
Location, competency and eligibility
The system can narrow the tender audience by location, competency and predefined eligibility rules.
Document and submission control
Required documents, attachments and submission statuses are part of the tender, not an after-the-fact email checklist.

Incoming offers are not only listed. Item parameters, prices, differences, missing documents and comments can be reviewed in a decision-ready comparison view.
Item templates
An item can be priced well only when its parameters are clear.
In BidCraft, frequently used items live as categorized templates. When building a tender, the organization selects the right template, fills the concrete parameters and adds a note where needed. A parameter is not explanatory copy: it is a standalone value, with a unit where applicable.

Select and parameterize an item template
The organization selects an item template from a category, then fills tender-specific parameter values and a note. For painting, parameters may include surface area, wall height and number of coats; access or scaffold questions belong in the note.

Assemble the tender package
The tender package is assembled from selected and filled item templates, deadlines, currency, budget, submission rules and document requirements.

Bring in organizational roles
The tender does not live in one user's inbox. Organization members, roles, permissions and responsibilities remain part of the process.

Select the supplier network
The existing partner network can be used to control who receives the request. Location, competency and eligibility rules help route the tender to the right supplier circle.
